Negotiating the offer

If you thought we were able to give you some inside tricks here there really aren't any! If you follow the steps we laid out before you should be armed with enough knowledge, to have an idea as to what your price range is, according to your budget. You should also know what areas you want to live in and what features you'd like to live near. If you have done your research, you will have a good idea as to what the property you are looking at is worth before you put in your offer. Also you should have an idea as to what conditions you require fulfilled as part of the offer, hopefully you have taken the time to find out what is important to the seller as part of the sale, what settlement conditions will suit them and lean them towards accepting your offer.

Keep in mind when negotiating the as silly as it sound negotiating is the key here, be prepared to move from where you start your offer from to meet somewhere hopefully in the middle. Two good pieces of good advice have been given to me that I stick to, always make the first offer as low as the vendor would reasonably accept without being insulted. Secondly if it comes down to $1,000 on a $500,000 transaction, are you prepared to walk away and lose the deal for 0.2% of the transaction value?

Failing all of this there, is a service available to you to use the services of a professional to find and negotiate an offer on a property in an area they see as advantageous or good value, if this is a service you are interested in then please click here.
